Sept 1st won't only be the day the new iPod's come out...no no. Plex the hotness in OS X media center software has been revamped from scratch. Instead of being one giant monolithic program, the developers changed the system to make a media server, and a thin client. One of Plex 9's new features (which ps I'm already loving, without even having tried it) is that you can run Plex media server on one computer...and start to watch your movie, then pause...go to another room launch Plex on that media center computer and pick up where...

Say Hola to the iPhone 4
Posted by Justin on Aug 28, 2010, Categories: iPhone
The iPhone 4 is now available in Mexico on the Apple Website. Much like the Canadian version (unlike the US version) the phone comes unlocked. The iPhone is available on two different providers in Mexico - Telcel and Movistar...but since I don't speak any spanish (hey I took French in high school!) I can't seem to find any pricing.

Firefox 4 ≠ PPC Macs
Posted by Justin on Aug 27, 2010, Categories: software
Dear PPC users....yes you guys still on the G4s and G5s. It's time. I know the computers of now are expensive, and why give up your computer because it "keeps working". What's going to happen is one day it won't work, then what? It's bad enough the latest version of OS X doesn't support your computer, but now other companies are following suit. Firefox's latest browser (version 4 for those who are counting) will not have PPC support. Mike Beltzner, Mozilla's program manager, said the next version, which is beta now, doesn't work on...

Ok but because you asked....This is the Brabus Mercedes-Benz S600 iBusiness edition. While the car itself tops out 211MPH, you can be working at 1000MPH on 2 iPads, a Mac Mini connected to a 15.2" display, and a 64GB iPod Touch. Internet is of course provided by the local 3G wireless provider. Brabus doesn't post a price, but let's just say the car alone starts at $150,000....so you do the math....I'm still...

Gizmodo reports that Apple wants to redesign the Audio jack. According to a new patent, Apple wants to consolidate the microphone and headphone jacks into one unified jack. According to the patent "in addition to using housing real estate, sound input apertures and electrical connectors introduce openings in the housing and breach the barrier that protects components inside the housing." Essentially the fewer holes in the case, the less chance for dirt, debris and dust to get in, less chance of breakage. Hasn't Apple learned their lesson about coming up with proprietary equipment?! ...
