Macessity Locks Down Your 2010 Mac Mini
Posted by Justin on Sep 21, 2010, Categories: Apple Stuff, Misc
If you haven't seen them by now, the new Mac Mini's look AMAZING! So thin, so sleek and very sexy. Apple somehow managed to fit all of the necessary components into something that is half as wide as it was.
Small and medium sized businesses love these machines because they are affordable, work horses and again, they just look awesome. The only problem is that the are not easy to lock down or put in a rack mount environment. That is where Macessity comes in with a great line of products.

CNNMoney poll – Macs > PC
Posted by Justin on Sep 21, 2010, Categories: Apple Stuff
According to a CNNMoney article, American's love their computers but prefer Apple's Mac platform to Windows PC. An American Customer Satisfaction Index shows that out of 100, PC score a rating of 78, up 3 points from last year. Apple's rating is 86, up 2 points from last year. This is the seventh year the Mac platform has beaten the PC on this particular index. This is caused by Apple's release of products like the iPod, iPhone, and iPad as well as Steve Job's brilliant marketing schemes. Another major factor (at least over the...

Can your iPod Touch be an iPhone?
Posted by Justin on Sep 20, 2010, Categories: Apple Stuff, iPhone, iPod
It can - but only with the new magic case that Apple just patented. Apple applied for a accessory transceiver. Essentially it's a case that has a SIM card in it that allows for voice and data to travel over a cell network. Apple's patent doesn't seem to be aiming at adding voice to the iPod touch, but more towards allow the iPhone to use a CDMA network (for those keeping score that's Verizon and Sprint). It seems like a lot for Apple to be actually coming up with this device, but knowing Apple it's probably...

Apple LED 27″ Cinema Display could be yours…
Posted by Justin on Sep 17, 2010, Categories: Apple Stuff
For $999 of course. Apple announced the 27" Cinema Display a while back, but they finally took their place in the store today. Boasting a giant screen, with 2560x1440 resolution, LED backlighting for instant-on brightness and 178-degree viewing angle, this monitor would look great sitting on your desk. I like the new LED displays because they come with MagSafe power adapters for laptops, so you only need to plug one item into the wall, and then feed the cables from the screen to your laptop. I don't like the new 27" Cinema Display because it is...

Oh silly Steve Jobs – an update a.k.a. Steve Jobs is NOT a ninja
Posted by Justin on Sep 16, 2010, Categories: Apple Stuff
Ok so apparently the story about Steve Jobs and the ninja start thing was bogus. Bloomberg published the info from SPA! Magazine and Apple finally responded saying the story was "pure fiction". But that didn't stop our favorite Taiwanese news company, famous for their CGI animations, from showing us what could have happened. Enjoy! ...
