Apple Gives ABC a Tour of Their Labs

The story of the iPhone 4 began back in April. Gizmodo was able to get their hands on a prototype of the phone. We immediately fell in love with the new device, and even though we could only see the hardware that was enough because it was just so pretty. There was nothing that could keep us from wanting this phone. We flooded Apple and AT&T’s servers to pre-order the phone, on launch day we stood in line for hours to obtain our device, and when we finally got our phones boy were we happy. Or were we, soon after launch many customers started to complain about loss of signal caused by holding the phone. For almost a month Apple did not properly address the issue. Steve Jobs finally held a press conference to address the issue and tell us his solution. Jobs knows that he needs to gain the trust of his faithful followers back so he is pulling out all the stops. He has granted ABC to enter Apple’s ‘black labs’ where the iPhone is tested.

Granting ABC access to their labs is a very smart move for Apple. This “sneak peak” of the testing facility shows us, the consumer, just how much work and research goes into Apple’s products. By allowing us to view the testing facilities Jobs has regained our trust, we always knew apple cared about their products but now we’ve seen the effort that Apple puts into making sure their products are as close to perfect as possible. Anyway here is the video I hope that if you are still iffy about Apple and the iPhone 4 this will restore your faith, and if your like me and your faith in Apple was never lost than this will just reaffirm what you’ve always known.
