The Register has posted what Britons believe are the top 100 inventions of all time. Top of the list at number one – the wheel (good choice Britain) and at the bottom in the number 100 spot is Clothes Peg. Now here’s the kicker – the Apple iPhone comes in at number 8 – just above a Flushing toilet!!! Britain – come on!
Apple’s iPod comes in at 56, while headphones come in at 75. There seems to be no logic to this list but here it is for all to see.
