Database creation software Filemaker is now available for download onto your iPhone and or iPad device. For you iPhone users, it will require you to run iOS4 and for iPad users you will have to run iOS 3.2.
While the app is a steep $19.99, it is a one-time purchase and will allow you to update and modify existing databases you have created. While some will argue that this will now replace your Mac as far as database creation, this helps make it a lot easier to bring an iPad on-site to a client than a laptop.
The app will read database files as far back as Filemaker 7.
