On Thursday, Netflix (aka the red envelope DVD in the mail company) released an app for the iPhone allowing users to stream your instant queue. The app is essentially an upgrade of the iPad version of the app which as been around since April. While you clearly lose screen size (compared to say your iPad or your computer) you can in resolution from the Retina display. The app even allows streaming over 3G, but if you are new iPhone user watch how much you download – remember AT&T recently changed their plans – topping out at 2GB per month for $45! This is probably why it took so long for the Netflix app to be approved. AT&T didn’t want everyone constantly streaming movies 24*7. If you are capped you will be conscious of what you download, so I don’t want to catch you watching Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2!
