Yes you read that the headline right, Safari 5 is available for download and this Mac Ninja has it!
What’s really weird to me is that a new piece of software for DEVELOPERS to use what not announced today at the Worldwide DEVELOPERS Conference. WWDC has just turned into a stage for Mr. Jobs to announce a new phone, but I digress.
Anyway, the new version of Safari is available for download on Apple’s website and will not show up in your Software Update for a while. Safari 5 Download.
If you are still running Leopard, you must be running version 10.5.8 in order to install this latest version. Not sure if you are running 10.5.8? Check your software updates.
For those of you cool kids running Snow Leopard, you have to be running at least 10.6.2 for it to work.
