It’s Thursday people and that means two things. We are that much closer to Friday and it is Tech Tip Tool Thursday!

Today’s topic is about the new Safari Extensions. Safari Extensions are similar to Firefox Add-On’s or Internet Explorer toolbars and work pretty much the same way.

When Safari 5.0 was announced and released, the Extensions program was only available for developers so they could start cooking up a lot of them prior to being released to the general public.

To add an Extension to your Safari window simply click on Safari in the top left-hand corner and then select the Safari Extensions gallery. It will look something like this:

From this menu, you can download and install whatever Extensions you want. If you are a baseball fan then I recommend the MLB Extension and for you social media freaks, the Twitter Extension is also a great one.

After you install your Extensions Safari may need a quick restart and then you are off and running.
