Hey AT&T users – are you still grandfathered into the “unlimited data” plan? Then stop reading because you still can’t use FaceTime over cellular yet. For everyone else let’s move on shall we.

AT&T announced today that they will soon enable FaceTime over cellular. They have done “extensive testing” – which to me means they figured out that FaceTime doesn’t clog their mobile network like they thought it would. AT&T originally said that FaceTime would be only available for iPhone 5 and the new iPad 4 but now will include the iPhone 4S as well.

My only advice for you FaceTime lovers, who now can use it over cellular – DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT use it while walking or driving.
