There hasn’t been any official word on Apple abandoning the white iPhone, this is purely my speculation and concern. The reason I bring this up is because everyday there is news about another problem or delay of the white iPhone. The latest problem is that the phone is being delayed because of light leaks. Apparently the combination of the device being made out of glass and the white paint allow for more light to escape the device than Apple would hope for. Now I don’t want them to cancel this device in fact I love it, when I first saw the render I thought it was hideous but when I saw actual pictures I was hooked. At some point Apple will either have to call it quits or release the product as is, imperfect. Now I know many of you shudder at the idea that Apple would release a product knowing that it wasn’t perfect but honestly what other choice do they have, plus many phones such as the Evo have those light leak problems and they are doing just fine. On the other hand Apple has faced enough criticism over the death grip fiasco so they might want to make sure there aren’t any more problems regardless of how small. Let me know what you think, I personally hope that they won’t scrap it, but I also didn’t think Microsoft would scrap the courier, which I also loved.
