Ok well, it’s not an official release from Apple, but close enough. For those who can’t get the white iPhone (as we discussed yesterday they aren’t shipping for color reasons) – you can replace the black glass with a brushed metal. Just like when tricking out a car, sleek looks make it go faster. (Disclaimer: this is NOT true). Cnn.cn – who is not CNN the news station BTW – is selling metal backs for the iPhone for 13 bucks. To replace the black glass just simply remove the 2 screws by the dock connector, slide out the glass and replace. Cnn.cn is out of stock right now but place a backorder if you want.
