So all the hoopla about iTunes 11 is finally over as Apple released it yesterday. iTunes 11 has brought a well needed redesigned to the beloved music media player. Apple has removed Cover Flow and the iTunes DJ in favor of Expanded view and Up Next.

Apple put a lot of thought into the new mini player (looks must like the old one to me) – but you can do nice things like pull up the album art, and queue the next songs.

They’ve also made finding the store much easier with a giant STORE button on the upper right corner – can’t miss it now.

iTunes 11 is available through your software updates found in the  Menu on the upper left corner of your desktop screen.
