Well AT&T finally put the kabash on the unlimited data plan. AT&T announced new plans for both the iPhone and the iPad. The new plans are $15 and $25 but will cap the $25 plan at 2GB of data. AT&T swears that no on on the iPad or iPhone using 3G should need more than that. They think that 200MB of data is good enough for 150 emails with attachments, or 20 minutes of video. AT&T's CEO Ralph de la Vega stated that he's not worried if Verizon gets the iPhone. Now he's not saying they are getting the iPhone but if Apple decides to go that route, AT&T would not be scared. He's basing his comments off AT&T's numbers. 70% of AT&T customers are on family plans, and 40% of AT&T customers are on corporate plans - both a pain to let go of.
