iPhone in Canada has posted that even though 10.6.3 was just released at the end of March - Apple has made a move to prepare 10.6.4 to developers.  10.6.3 brought a lot of fixes to Snow Leopard, including a lot reliability and compatibility of 3rd party devices.  10.6.3 was in development for over 3 months - if Apple sticks to that time frame, 10.6.4 should be released early summer of this...

Apple just released 10.6.3 - which is downloadable via Software Updates ( Menu -> Software Updates).  The update comes in at a whopping 438MB!  Of course there are "bug fixes", but also the following improvements (taken directly from Apple's Support Site): General operating system fixes and improvements provided for:

  • performance of Logic Pro 9 and Main Stage 2 when running in 64-bit mode.
  • printing reliability.
  • sleep and wake reliability when using Bonjour wake on demand.
  • a color issue in iMovie with HD content.
  • glowing, stuck, or dark pixels when viewing video from the iMac (Late 2009) built-in iSight camera.
